You don't have to be interested in art and culture to enjoy a visit to the National Museum.

Here you can pick and choose from the museum cafe's extensive menu

In the new National Museum, you will find a great and large café on the 1st floor, with its own entrance from the museum square. There are also several places to eat in the museum, such as on the museum's roof terrace with a view of the Oslo Fjord.

The cafe on the 1st floor

The cafe is the place where you can start your day, take a break at lunch or enjoy a good dinner. Here, food and drinks are served that reflect Norwegian food culture.

The menu includes canapes with flavors from all over Scandinavia, a separate waffle dessert menu, velvety sour cream porridge and today's dinner.

The salong

The lounge on the 2nd floor is a coffee bar and rest area, a resting place for tired legs, with salty, sweet, cold and hot refreshments. Relax with a cup of coffee, a glass of bubbles or a juice, and baguettes, wraps, croissants, buns and more.

The roof terrace

The bar out on the roof terrace on the 3rd floor is open when the weather permits. Snacks and drinks are served here.

Dugurd is the company that runs the catering in the National Museum. In the National Museum, Dugurd will serve short-traveled, clean and natural ingredients and good, sensibly priced food.
